nastya We aren't, the Hungarian one. Those were the times I had curiosity about literature. Now I am barely able to continue with the new Pynchon...

Katia N I remember we've talked about the one of his. Was it "Melancholy of resistance'? I've read four by him. Liked the two earlier the most and then the last I've read was Baron and I thought he has started to repeat himself at length. So I've got a mixed feelings. But plan to try to read his stories and more essayistic book but not the last novel in English about German simpleton and quantum physics - kind of old-fashioned by the standards of our time:-)

nastya I think so, I only read that one and I remember it fondly, 3 years later no less! I then read his short story/novella and it was very forgettable. Never had any desire to read anything else yet, but if I find them in goodwill for 2$, then why the hell not? :) Curious enough to buy them for 2$, not curious enough to seek them out for a full price or even read them from the library.
