This might end up my favorite book of 2025. You know that mood where you need a tearjerker to release your emotional valve? This book will make you relive the first time someone broke your heart. It’s so emotional, and at the same time sweet.

I am digesting this in bites, I am loving it, I am simultaneously scared. Its build up so slowly, their childhood trauma’s defining their future mistakes. Their friendship, their love. Their experience of 9/11 had my weeping.

This is amazing. The slow build of of them, and him not being the typical “bully, villain “ but you can still feel the power imbalance in their relationship. You sense the hurt coming her way.
