Gregoire is also a new character; the blood master of clan arcanau & Leo's important scion (but not turned by Leo. Still unsure what "scion" means wrt the vamps). Weird to introduce a new main character on book 4 but we'll roll with it. What I hate are the werewolves & the witches. Her "friend's" family blame Jane for everything & she just takes it all. Jane has made Kemnebi "Kem" her Beta? Wow, that...changes things. It forces her into the scene in a different way, and the poor African weres were just trying to introduce themselves/parley with the vamps, lol. OK. Also Saffia turned Rick! I didn't know she was a mate (she seemed almost like a slave/posession when they were introduced).
And now he has to train Rick.
