It’s been really interesting reading about the experiences of this time. And comparing them to what is currently happening in the United States. People losing jobs, people blaming immigrants, hate of those who are different – outsiders like Jews, Italians, Mexicans – and even people being arrested for protesting And held in cages. History rhymes. We need to learn more and do better.
