This has veered some into cute. I am not a fan of cute. It also veers nostalgic. I don't like nostalgia, which is just self deception/selective memory designed to allow people pretend life didn't always suck a lot of the time. But it is observant and has a big and authentic heart. It is smart and funny. Best suited to people old enough to remember Green Stamps and car windows that roll up.

I want to rest my head on this book's shoulder.
