Hahaha! It's 750 eligible pages for the LBC Valerie, but yeah, I downloaded this for my Kindle in September 2024 without realising how long it was! D'oh! Anyway, the LBC is the perfect time for me to tackle it!

Yikes Ian, 750 pages. I had to put Tacitus and a couple of other beasts aside till next summer. Those doorstops can wear me down.

Hi E C! I'm currently doing a "Long Books Challenge" with a group of GR Friends, over this month and next. Books have to be a minimum of 400 pages, excluding notes, bibliographies etc. It's quite a good way for us to get through some of the long books that have sat on our shelves for ages!

Tacitus will slog on as he has for centuries with or without me. :)
