I really like the writing style of this book, it really dwells into the backgrounds of each character little by little as the book goes on. While also having a nice pacing on the romance, it’s not too fast and the male MC is the one that’s down bad with the female MC. The FMC doesn’t particularly care about the MMC, but the MMC is suffering because of how attracted he is to her.

So far, I actually like this book! Misery isn’t treated like a helpless woman, she can take care of herself and she knows it.
