GUYS HELP: I can't seem to get out of my Reading Slump. Its been months since I've reviewed any book here or completed any book. :/ I have 10 freakin currently reading books and no book is able to catch my attention more than 50 pages. I'm doomed. *shaking my head sadly* What should I DO NOW???? *picking my cell to call 911 for help*

Saurabh wrote: "I have 24 in my currently reading!! Keep trying you'll finally stumble on something worth finishing."DAMN! I've never had more than 3 books on my CR but now i am doomed. but guess you're right :P :3 Hope is the only thing i can get with my books right now :P
i was the same over the summer, it sucks :( but honestly just don't pressure yourself like i did cause it just seemed to make it worse for me tbh. if you needs recs tho i'd try the addicted series by krista & becca richie, it finally helped me really get back into reading! good luck :))

NerdyJediGymnast wrote: "Read Ruined for Fantasy, Everything Everything for Contemporary. That works for me."Thanks Nerdy i think i'll go with the contemporary as everyone is saying to read any book from this genre. :)
Saurabh wrote: ":) I will go with a contemporary or what they call Metro reads in India. Those light, breezy reads."Metro reads?? Wow, btw why did you guys call it a metro read? :o and yeah i am going with the contemporary genre now. :) thanks for the rec though.
Muhammad wrote: "Try "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand. In short, it is just what you need."Usman its 720 pages long :o i can't even read my most anticipated book of 2016 :o thats how deep i am in this slump right now :/
Stop reading altogether. Survive on TV shows for a week. 6 days without reading will most definitely reignite your desire to read something.
Sara wrote: "Stop reading altogether. Survive on TV shows for a week. 6 days without reading will most definitely reignite your desire to read something."not bad
Stay away from books for a while. Take up something else that you like to do apart from reading or writing. And yeah mindless youtube videos or soap operas do help at times...
If you don't want to stop reason books than you should find a very explosive book that gets you out of your slump
I am so so sorry to hear it, Poppy! I thought you got over it already months ago. ;_; What do you usually read? Contemporary?
You might have to stop reading the same genre as you always do. when I'm in reading slump, I always read contemporary because I always read fantasy when I'm not in reading slump and it always works for me. So maybe you should try to read different genre that you usually read. Good luck, Poppy. I hope you'll get over it within a week! ❤️❤️❤️
If you haven't already, try reading If I Stay by Gayle Foreman. It pulled me in right away and I didn't set it down once until I finished and needed to go get the second book.
Same! I end up rereading my favorite books and I just can't seem to finish any other books that I started.
Zoha wrote: "Reading slump sucks! I always read fluffy rom-coms in such situations! :D Try Sophie Kinsella's!"Hahhahah. I usually re-read my favourite one's but i think i'll consider your rom-coms :P Isn't it sounds more like pom-pom :P
Jasmine wrote: "Same! I end up rereading my favorite books and I just can't seem to finish any other books that I started."OMG ITS LITERALLY ME RIGHT NOW. GIRL I FEEL YA SO BAD :(

I've already read that one :o and i didn't bod with me really well, so i didn't continued with the series. :o

Asghar wrote: "buy more books, that helps sometimes"I am on book ban Asgahr :( I have tons and tons of un-read books on my shelf and 60+ ARC'S to read but this SLUMP will be the end of my reviewer career :D :P
