If Aiden’s supposedly so happy with Dawn, and Kade clearly has feelings for Del, then WHY are we still entertaining this “what if Aiden and Kade were together” nonsense every. Single. Chapter?!
It’s exhausting. Truly. Aiden’s so bitter Kade didn’t want to be with her, but why?! You’re in a happy relationship, Aiden — act like it!

That kind of stuff drives me NUTS in a romance. I do not want to spend one second on a relationship ( or considering one) that isn’t the main one. Do not waste my time!

We’re supposed to be invested in two established couples (Del and Kade, and Aiden and Dawn), but literally every chapter revisits the idea that Kade and Aiden might have been better together. It completely undermines both relationships. If you want readers to care about your couples, stop implying they’d be happier with someone else!
