There were so many cool books for the fantasy category but HP winning feels cheap like, yeah it was fun but it was not too well written fanfiction. Meeh

Me too! I went to see the winners and was really underwhelmed, but this for me was a year in which just "okay" books were super hyped, so I'm not totally surprised :P

^^ NO shit aye. Crooked Kingdom was my vote, but would have been goddamn stoked if We Are the Ants or The Raven King or even Lady Midnight cruised in for a win

But it certainly was not the best written book in the fantasy category.

I would've been perfectly content with Crooked Kingdom, The Raven King, Lady Midnight - hell, I would've been happy with Glass Sword.

Nah would have been salty if Glass Sword got it I hated Red Queen so much BUT STILL I feel you I wanted CK or WATA sOOO badly !!!!
I feel the exact same way! I woke up this morning thinking "yes! The Goodreads Choice winners are announced today!" but then I got here and went "....seriously?" For example, The Serpent King was nominated for two categories and didn't win either :(
This keeps coming up on my feed and I keep on crying bc look at Stiles, my precious boy love him so muchI KNOW THIS IS UNRELATED TO BOOKS BUT I LOVE STILES
