Canario Cimarrón Spengler's fall of the west is a hard read, I'm curious to see if Toynbee is a better writer.


postmodern putin from what i can gather so far, he's less esoteric than spengler but more rigorous in his approach. this could be because i read the abridged version of the decline whereas toynbee i'm reading the original unabridged version. it's also not being translated from german. i like it a lot so far.
