I have complicated thoughts about this. I wonder if Straube isn't confident enough in her writing cause it really is quite honestly a really tenderly written book, and the selling point of this should not at all be the smut like the summary and all the reviews seem to think is the selling point. It feels like the other reviewers are all reading a completely different book -- maybe I'm missing something, idk
