Both of the characters get on my nerves honestly, but then I feel bad for the both of them as well. George gets mad at Lennie for basically being a burden on him which annoys me, but I also feel bad for him because he sacrifices for the both of them. Lennie on the other hand, I just feel bad for him. He depends on George a lot.

I was surprised to find out that Lennie and George aren't related because George is going through all this trouble for Lennie and you can just tell he'd always be by lennie's side.
