Like a fool I let my Libby loan expire but I was enjoying this story so much I decided just to buy a paperback copy. Awaiting delivery now 👀

This book is so fucking enjoyable and such a far cry from anything I’ve read recently. I love a good adventure story and it’s even better that the gray hero is a woman in her 40s. “a little madness goes a long way in convincing men that you might stab them if they step out of line” kips me 🤣
