While I love the show this just feels okay to me. Maybe because I usually don’t laugh at jokes I read and only the ones I hear but the humor was just okay to me. Also was the lamp shading in the beginning necessary?

Maybe it's that Gunn isn't writing this and I like his humor in the show better than here but I just find the humor in here okay, not good, not bad. This book so far just feels like a worse version of the show.
