Definitely noticed a drop off in quality from the beginning but that was always going to happen, still very enjoyable and well written. Looking forward to the climax.

Love the way the story is largely told through the letters and telegraphs. Gives you a good sense of how information would travel during that period. As well as helping to build suspense in the wider context of the story.

Incredible start to a book. Felt like I was watching a movie. Perfect time of year to be reading it as well, looking forward to reading more.
