Okay, but say that the blurb got it wrong and Jessica is actually only a gentleman's daughter; Lord Frederick (I think that's how his name is spelt??) wouldn't be encouraged to court Jessica then, especially considering it sounds like he's the second son. It would make more sense for him to be encouraged to court Catherine. Jessica most likely wouldn't have as large a dowry Catherine would either, so....

The ladies' views feel very modern...

Also, Jessica and Catherine are 25, so why haven't they had any seasons in London?? As daughters of nobility that would have been expected of them. By now you would think their families would be worried about them becoming old maids...

The blurb says that Jessica is the youngest daughter of an earl, yet neither her nor her father have been addressed by their titles once and it sounds as if she only has one brother yet he is in an apprenticeship, which as the heir to a earldom that's not right. So things are not adding up here...

Oh, just fall in love or get married already you two. (I'm impatient if it wasn't obvious, lol)
