The conversation between Kiki and her mom brought tears to my eyes. Her mom recognizing that they put so much responsibility on Kiki at such a young age that she felt like she had to keep everything in. Staying out of the way and never wanting to seem as if she’s a burden to her parents. Man that scene got me crying. Eldest and only daughters understand fr. 🥺

I love the interactions between Malakai and Kiki, it’s warm and it makes me giggle. I can’t wait to find out why they broke up in the first place. I think they’re meant to be tbh, they just get each other.

Kiki’s inner dialogue cracks me up, it’s so real. I love being able to read her thought process, allows you to understand her a bit better.
