just finished volume 2 so good
- monster gained knowledge and language through the books of his protectors (people in cottage)
- he tried to approach the father first cause blind but then the children walked in and the son started beating him he left
- when he came back he saw the protectors were no longer there, abandoned him
- monster sad sought out revenge and killed the boy (victor’s brother)
- wants bride

forgot to mention this book is located in switzerland

entering volume 2 now, his youngest brother william has died and justine the girl servant girl was too blame cause she was found with the necklace in her pocket
- victor saw the shadow of the monster the day before he got home in the mountains
- he thinks it was the monster who killed his brother

victor hates science, is traumatized
- is now a language man with his friend Henry Clerval

the set up is a man telling of his past
- he is passionate about creating life where there is none
- letters to a sister by robert about a man who is affectionate with as a friend (the man telling the story)
