Can't decide how I feel about the allusion to King George and Queen Charlotte
Also the 'drinking blood = heartbeats' seems inconsistent:
Maria feels her heart beat after killing Sabine, Alice doesn't since she drinks from a cup, but Charlotte does even though she appears to be drinking from a cup (unless she is drinking from Sabine)
Shouldn't drinking from other vampires not pass the heartbeat due to their nature?
