I enjoyed "Transcending Darkness" a lot. When i saw another mafia book from her, i had a great enthusiasm and bought this book instantly. So far, the story is going well. The only drawback i've had is, 20-30 pages inside Ava or Dimitri's head,and then only 1/2 page with actual conversation or interactions.
