maddening to read that women being murdered in the name of "honour" is so commonplace in southern punjab that it barely bares reporting, that in most cases if a woman is found with a man she isn't married to she is murdered immediately. ya salaam. im no deity but i really feel like allah might have some problems with that. the malicious interpretation of women's honor is terrifying

quite interesting how men create cultures of religious purity they expect women to maintain but then also expect women to be willing to sleep with them for money, be sexually appealing, etc.
