Right now, Luke just broke into the Sports Family's house and met another shadow kid, Jen. I think an important part of the book is when It says, “Suddenly he hated his house. It wasn’t a sanctuary. It was a prison.” This moment is significant because it shows that Luke is tired of being a shadow kid and wants to be able to be outside more often. It also shows that he wants to not be trapped in his house all day.

Currently, Luke has just met Jen's father and has found out that she died during the parade. I predict that in the future of this book, Luke will become friends with Jen's father and his parents could even meet Jen's father. I think so because it seems like right now, Luke and Jen's father are getting along rather than fighting.
