i will give it to the haters that the way holden describes women is foul. however he also seems to think he is better than every man in this book as well so maybe it's less about hating women and more about being insane. further study needed for verdict

reread because everyone treats this book like it's the male manipulator bible and holden caulfield is the scum of the earth but i loved it when i was 15. seeing if i can clear my boys name here
