If I'm being honest about this, I feel like this book makes me want to ask questions, but it's also so dizzyingly disconnected at this early stage that it's really hard for me to keep track of what it's trying to do or explore. It just feels disjointed, and the supernatural element is not very compelling to me at this stage.
