This book is written very differently.. I forget the term but I think in acting it's called Breaking the third wall or something. The author speaks directly to the reader and I don't know.It works. I'm finding the story very atmospheric. I also love old houses, nooks, crannies, secrets and this book is giving all of that and more. It's very healing actually for my anxiety to have a complete description of a room.
