Becca Tillotson is 13% done

Been intimidated by this one for so long, but the richness of language and rhythm of story becomes addicting. Just as Shakespeare's plays are meant to be watched live, I believe this is meant to be heard aloud, plus audiobook makes it actually doable. Not stressing about comprehending everything or tracking 100% of the time, because if Charlotte Mason was right, I'll absorb what I'm meant to. ;)

Plodding away. 😅 Have now been introduced to Britomart. Passed a section an hour or so back that made it plain as day how much the tempting of Prince Caspian draws from this work. As Angelina from the Literary Life podcast says, the Narnia books are basically Lewis' Faerie Queene fan fiction. 😂
