Whoa. Not what I expected, but delightful. Nix’s use of words makes me keep a dictionary nearby and the confusion that Susan feels can be felt by the readers as we become sucked into the Old World of London. It makes me tempted to keep reading in order to untangle the mystery of what is happening. And at the same time, I want to savor the moments of discovery.
