I am not a huge fan of the rah-rah biography . I like Teddy Roosevelt a lot and I have no problem acknowledging his several flaws. Morris struggles here.

I found his discussion of Alice Lee harsh and mean. To dismiss the abilities of a lovely 22 year old woman Judy because she died young is inexcusable. Subtract a star for this small mindedness.
