I so far really admire and am rooting for John the Bastard. The narrator on this audio recording is doing a great job differentiating the characters with voices.

The constant back and forth every chapter is grating on my nerves, but I am loving it quite a bit.

You know Martha, I may not be so impacted by that because I'm listening to it. Each transition is announced and/or accompanied by a narrator change.We'll compare notes upon completion!

Maybe 150 pages? I'm not sure Martha because I'm listening not reading. Denaryius (spelling) has already married and Brand (spelling) has survived being pushed off by Robert's brother, whose name I can't remember right now.Why were you up so early?

Ceresi is sleeping with her brother. Robert is King and Cersei is his wife the Queen. Jamie is one of the Kingsguard, also known as Kingslayer.
Doesn't Jamie have brothers in King Robert's leaership too? There was a scene where Jamie says to his brother, in reference to Bran living or dying, that his brother may be wishing him ill. I think Jamie might have been talking about the Imp, Tyrion, who is his brother.
Yeah, Jamie was talking about Tyrion, the Imp. I finished today. OH MY GOD!
I must now get my hands on book two!
I just started the third book today whilst waiting at the dentist, it helped ease my stress. :)
