Audiobook. Not a fan, I’m unlikely to continue. The narrative is dense, idiosyncratic and difficult to follow. It focuses on categorizing historical references of madness with quotes from historical texts while never offering anything in the way of a cohesive narrative. Sometimes interesting, often difficult, never approachable.
