By giving our children and young people a better reason to learn than just an individualistic one of getting a job or making more money, by encouraging them of making a difference in their neighborhoods, we would get their cognitive juices flowing.

The new economy requires a huge military apparatus to secure global resources and to consume materials for itself, at the same time providing enormous riches for arms merchants and for our otherwise failing auto, aircraft, & ship manufacturers.

The next American Revolution, in this stage of our history, it’s not principally about jobs or Health insurance or making it possible for more people to realize the American dream of upward mobility. It is about acknowledging that we Americans have enjoyed middle class, comfort at the expense of other peoples all over the world.

Real wealth is not the possession of property but the recognition that our deepest need, as human beings, is to keep developing our natural and acquired powers and to relate to other human beings.
