After the first chapter the book is getting easier to read.

The author puts way too much information into each sentence. For example, when telling of Monty'd birth year, he tells of no less than ten other people born that same year.

He also used three or four slang words together and that gets annoying to have to look up.

I'll provide example if need be. It might cause me to DNF this book.
