It's ok so far. It reads as a book for younger readers (which I don't mind). Truthfully the story hasn't pulled me in yet so I'll see how this changes as the story progresses.
I use the 10% rule these days. If the first 10% doesn't interest me, I DNF 🤷🏾♂️
Makes sense. I am trying to give it a chance given that I haven't read fiction in a while. I have a few books I got recently that I want to go through so I may end up with a DNF rule soon.
