I’m really enjoying how it’s a great kids’ book. 📖 The way the characters are always experiencing new legends of the UK. It sometimes reads like a checklist. Sometimes. But I love how visual and emotional landscape.

I love the way Gwyn describes the dragon. The way the scenery is so alive. It is a fun ride.

I love the lore; I love how they reached an dead end but they are so in the miscommunication trope. Then; as the book has to go on. The intricate lives of the Earth; their culture. Merlin acts a guide. This book to me promotes a curious love/ admiration for nature and how to coexist. It’s subtle obviously. The mountain (Great Giant) Giant (GOG).

I sincerely love the surprises; the ingenuity of the team. The charisma. The tense moments. Inadvertently, Merlin and Gwen save the trapped mermaid and liberate the injured moon hare who happens to be a major character. That was a fun touching moment. Also, the banter back and forth. Gwen has magic in her veins... wow. I love feeling so immersed. The illustrations, the hardcover body of book. I find myself enjoying.

I am incredibly impressed by the forest magic system; also the dimensions and personification. Also, Gwyn uses embraces her curiosity to delve deeper into the power of nature by not of force but of love like her listening to Merlin and it helps. We see how Arthur struggles with self image due to external factors influencing him emotionally. Merlin observes his feelings and lets them then moves on valiantly.

I love the illustrations; I really admire the excitement, the visuals, the way the author describes the scope of the Roman army marching, the Green Man; the way Merlin is so inspired to create astonishing feats. How Arthur (the future king making a joke on how feels offended when he denies nature can’t beat a king. I had a small chuckle). I love how I am immersed with Gwyn’s life atm. As I said, predict unpredic

I thoroughly enjoy the book. It is fun and easy to read. Gwyn is a strong heroine that cares, adventurous, she is resourceful, accepting of unique people like Merlin, the wild boy; half tree, human boy I assume. The plot and exposition play wonderfully. It’s predictably unpredictable. The take of magical world that is grounded in the natural world in the UK. Romans, a king, Gwyn’s father are other characters.
