I'm desperate to find out how this man dies. Like sure, I know Heathcliff dies at the end, but HOW? How could you possibly manage that? He's like Rasputin

Bold of Emerald Fennell to make her movie all about sex in the most graphic way possible, when it's obvious Heathcliff and Cathy have NEVER slept together in their ENTIRE lives

Hilarious to see Charlotte Bronte apologizing for the book's existence in the Introduction--she's like "my sister wrote this. i am so sorry."

I think it is such a missed opportunity to cast a dark-skinned person, either mixed race or dark, because Heathcliff is described as being dark--arguably in a Gypsy way, but still. But I am more concerned with whether Elordi can act--maybe he can change my mind and overcome everyone's issues with his casting.

But I am more co..."Yes! Heathcliff is very clearly presented as not white in this book, and it's ridiculous for Hollywood to be still ignoring that fact in 2025. (Personally, I'm leaning to the interpretation that he's Indian, but that the people around him mistake him for Romani.)
I think Elordi can act... but not like this XD He's simply the wrong type.
At this point I don't see why we EVER NEED yet another Wuthering Heights adaptation if you're going to cast yet another white dude. The only thing left to explore in this book is the racism that's been ignored in every single adaptation so far.

I can only imagine how longtime stans feel
