It’s interesting the way Korede as a child was always protecting Ayoola from men, in this instinctive almost compulsory way and now she thinks her sister is the monster

The relationship between the sisters intrigues me though, especially Korede’s resentment toward. Ayoola and the latter’s aloofness and lack of any real empathy for her sister. But Korede is so unreliable I cannot be sure. She thinks all men are perfect in many ways and her sister is not. Her jealousy is obvious when he described how her sister’s beauty ensorcels men, but she defends men she finds beautiful.
