This book is so damn slow. 243 pages in and they’re still introducing new characters. I have no idea why china invaded Hawaii, or why they just stopped at Hawaii, it’s literally been 243 pages about building a boat. Most boring world war scenario ever. Also the cyber attack at the beginning calling back to c2 from an air gapped network?! Even in fiction is the dumbest thing I’ve read
