Currently a DNF. I’m trying because I think this history is important & interesting - but my god; the writing is really awful. Clearly a ton of time & research was done for this book, reference sect. is big - but I feel like I’m chasing a rabbit reading it. I don’t normally get picky about how a book is written, but it’s bordering on flight of ideas. IDK. Maybe I’ll pick it up again another time.
