I really wanted to like this book as I previously read Half a Yellow Sun. Perhaps the audiobook made it more confusing with the beautiful African accents and names. The chapters were never ending which made it somewhat difficult to find an ending place to put the audiobook down. The characters were compelling but I just lost interest and then the library pulled it back. Maybe I’ll try again in the future.
