I feel like the author mixes up the characters personalities. One minute the main character is sweet and likable, then she is bitter and jealous. All personalities are nuanced, but to me this came off as scattered. And it annoys me how pretentious Merritt is. This book is for white, unhappily married women and I find it unrelatable. Nonetheless I want to know what happens.
