It sounds really interesting! I’ve heard of it but thought it was a ghost story 😅 I think I’d like to read it!

Not a ghost story, at least no so far. More of a story about love and deception. The prose is waffle waffle and I was just in the right mood for it.

There are different narrators, different view points. Marian is my favourite so far. Quite astonishing how the book is construction considering is was 1860
