Well…that escalated quickly. Louise better get a happy ending or I’m rioting.

I zero percent want to in this moment of them searching, however I will say I like the authors exploration of power dynamics via wealth in what is clearly a crisis situation.

As a rule, I generally don’t like missing kid novels. And I don’t particularly like this section of the novel that is going into it, it’s just like every parent nightmare who has had a kid who elopes or runs away. That is not relaxing or enjoyable content for me to read.
