So far it’s reading very ‘Gilmore Girls’ in terms of the way the town is described, the kooky characters, and the hallmark-esque atmosphere. It’s enjoyable but I’m not expecting this book to be ‘high brow’. Not that I don’t enjoy hallmark style books or films. But not what I’d recommend picking up if you’re after something more intellectually stimulating.
