Chasity Bowlin’s novella - 3 stars
Intriguing, yet unbelievable. And it moved so fast. The writing was also nothing special. Instalove. Everything tied up neatly and too quickly. Some pretty cheesy romantic declarations that had me rolling my eyes.

Kathryn Le Veque’s novella - 2 stars
Interesting story, but not very well written. The writing feels juvenile and immature, with lots of short sentences and some repetition. I feel like the author was trying to make this spookier than it is, and in trying so hard to do that it comes off as cheesy. Plus, it should be “Lucas’s” not “Lucas’”.
