@tori right?! i also find quite interesting that if you say someone that you love them, you either have to infer what they actually mean - do they love you like a friend or are they in love with you? - or you have to ask them to clarify what they mean?! when i hear/read “i love you but i am not in love with you” it makes me want to punch something (preferably something soft, because i don’t want to break a bone, but still)
