So, realistically, this feels very similar to the majority of romantasies. Same cookie cutter shape, slightly different flavor. But it’s a flavor I haven’t exactly figured out yet so I keep going. Like, I don’t know to explain it. I’m intrigued enough that I want to keep going and I am hoping that it’s gearing up for some real action.

So far I’m getting Manon and the Ironteeth vibes. Not super impressed either the FMC so far. Will keep giving it a chance.
