He's barely said anything and I already love King Jesse. Oh my goddddd. Should have made his whole series about him. Should have made this whole series about Ceridwen and Jesse. Or maybe have made Meira and Jesse together since my ship has basically sunk.

Finally!! Something exciting! Like the first one, this book is very slow going. But like before, I'm interested to see what happens. Also, I think I've lost all hope with my ship. However, having Mather's POV helps me lean towards his favor more and more.
