Thoroughly enjoying the juxtapositional contrast between the life of adventure and safety. The novel initially has painted Linda to thrive in the romanticised fast life but as she settles into the reality of her hasty decisions, there’s a sense of regret and disappointment in the life she’s chosen.

On the other end, Vaughn initially seems to pity himself and his small life but we see his character evolve.
