One of the recent chapters had an amazing story about the inciting incident of the Stonewall riots from an eyewitness who was good friends with Griffith. Another chapter also touched on the friendship between Griffith and Joe Frazier which was so very cool to learn about.

Getting to one of the most infamous moments in Emile’s career and knowing what’s coming up makes the paragraphs leading up to it even more tense. Really great read so far!

Thank you for sharing."I’ve known a little about the boxer the book is about (Emile Griffith) but this does such a great deep dive into chronicling his life in and outside of the ring. Barely 100 pages deep and it’s so so good so far. Heart wrenching stuff but also intriguing and empowering. Excited to keep reading but so far I’d def recommend it!
